E-commerce · Amazon agency

A website that builds trust, and the tool that does the numbers behind it.

SELLER-RANK offers to manage the Amazon account of brands that sell online. I rebuilt its website so that a seller can understand, on a single page, who will answer them and what they are handing over. Alongside that, I'm developing the application that works out what each product really earns.

What was delivered

2 projects

A public website and an internal tool, designed and built by the same person.

8:1

Minimum contrast of secondary text, checked by an automated test.

0 false successes

The form only confirms sending when the request has actually gone through.

0 real data

The application screens shown here come from demo mode, with fictitious products.

No traffic or sales figures on this page: the tool's belong to the business that uses it, and the website's will be published once they have been measured.

The context

A business built on trust, and margins that are hard to read.

SELLER-RANK offers to take care of advertising, product listings and the Seller Central account for brands selling on Amazon. A seller who hands over their account wants to know who they are dealing with, what they are delegating and what it costs. The old website didn't answer those three questions quickly enough, and the contact form had to get through every single time.

Behind that, another problem: on a marketplace, revenue shows up straight away, the margin much less so. Fees, advertising, purchase costs that change from one batch to the next, currencies: the spreadsheets could no longer keep up. What was needed was a tool that gives net profit, product by product.

The goal

A website that presents the offer plainly and promises no results. And a dashboard where every sale reads as net profit, on a computer as well as on a phone.

My approach

Two tools, one rule: show only what is true.

1. A website that speaks like a seller

One page per service, prices on display, the FAQ and contact one click away. First-person copy, a dark and readable art direction, nothing made up: no fake reviews, no unsourced figures.

2. A verified technical foundation

Metadata specific to each page, structured data, sitemap. Contrast, visible focus and reduced motion on request. Automated tests keep all of this in place with every change.

3. A tool built on the real calculations

Weighted average purchase cost per batch, currency conversion from several sources with manual entry as a last resort, from quote to invoice. The application also works on a phone.

The detail

What the work includes.

The website is live. The application is an internal tool, already in use but not finished yet: not all the platform connections are complete, and it is not for sale.

  • Multi-page website rebuilt in Next.js (design & development)
  • Contact form validated server-side, wired to an alert
  • Metadata, sitemap, robots and structured data
  • Contrast, visible focus and reduced animations on request
  • Automated tests for content, SEO and contrast
  • Application: net profitability and margin per product
  • Application: stock, purchase batches and invoicing
  • Application: mobile display and home-screen installation

The screens

The application, in demo mode.

Products, amounts and margins are fictitious.

The proof is online

The best judge is the website itself.

Open a service page, read the FAQ, try the navigation on your phone: everything this case study shows can be checked in two clicks.
